Here are instructions for ordering books, t-shirts, book bags, posters, gift certificates and prints from us. Please make your selection from our forthcoming, recently released, & complete catalog of City Lights Publications in print and from featured sections and staff picks at City Lights Bookstore.

Individual Orders

City Lights titles, or any book featured with an "add to cart" button next to it, may be purchased by email through paypal. Simply click on the "add to cart" button next to your book of choice. Shipping and handling fees and tax (for California residents only) will automatically be added to your purchase.

Books not published by City Lights may be purchased by phone or snail mail. You may also send or fax in a copy of our printable order form. Please contact us at the address listed below

All books will be shipped First Class or DHL Ground unless otherwise specified. If you would like your order shipped DHL 2-day priority or by UPS, please let us know by entering it in the appropriate field in the on-line ordering form, or by contacting us. The cost for 2nd day priority shipping will be $9.50 for the first item, and $2 for each additional item.

Bookstore/ Retail Orders

City Lights books are distributed to bookstores and libraries in the United States and Canada by Consortium Book Sales and Distribution. Retailers in Europe may order through Airlift Book Company.
